This Privacy Policy explains how data is collected, protected and managed for users of the canturkceviri.com website and translation platform. It should be read together with the Personal Data Protection Notice (KVKK Notice).

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data: Email address, first name, last name entered at registration.
  • Document files: PDFs, images or scanned documents uploaded for translation.
  • Order and payment information: Service type, target language, delivery method, billing address, payment method (excluding card details).
  • Communication data: Support requests, email correspondence.
  • Automatically collected data: IP address, browser type, operating system, access time — solely for security and session management; not used for marketing or profiling.

2. How We Protect Your Data

  • Transmission security: All connections are encrypted with TLS 1.2+.
  • Storage encryption: Uploaded documents are stored encrypted with AES-256 in Supabase Storage.
  • Access control: File access is restricted to the relevant customer and the assigned translator, enforced at database level via Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): TOTP-based 2FA is mandatory for all administrator accounts.
  • Destruction: Data past its retention period is securely deleted; files are permanently removed from storage.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

  • Supabase Inc. (USA): Authentication, database and file storage. Privacy policy.
  • Netlify Inc. (USA): Website hosting and Edge Functions. Privacy policy.
  • Resend Inc. (USA): Transactional email (order notifications, receipts). Privacy policy.
  • iyzico Payment Services (Turkey): Card payments. Card details are processed solely within iyzico's infrastructure and are never stored by us. Privacy policy.
  • Cargo Companies: Delivery details are shared with the relevant courier when physical delivery is chosen.

Beyond these providers, your personal data is never sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Analytics and Tracking

The platform does not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.). Only internal access logs are kept for security purposes and are deleted after 1 year.

5. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under 18. If you believe data relating to a minor has been collected, please notify us and it will be deleted immediately.

6. Policy Updates

Material changes to this policy will be notified to your registered email address and the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
