This form relates to processing activities requiring your explicit consent under Articles 5(1) and 6(2) of Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) in connection with the document translation service provided by Muhammet Mildan — CanTürk Immigration and Education Consultancy ("CanTürk Tercüme").

1. Processing of Special Categories of Personal Data

Documents you upload for translation (identity cards, passports, diplomas, criminal records, medical certificates, powers of attorney, etc.) may contain the following special categories of personal data:

  • Biometric data (photograph, fingerprint field),
  • Health data (medical certificate, disability certificate, etc.),
  • Data relating to criminal convictions and security measures (criminal record, judicial record),
  • Religious denomination or belief (to the extent included in civil registry documents),
  • Other special categories (race, ethnic origin, political opinion — only to the extent present in the document content).

This data will be shared solely with the assigned sworn translator for the purpose of performing the translation service and will be securely destroyed within the retention periods stated in the Personal Data Protection Notice.

2. International Data Transfers

Due to the platform's technical infrastructure, your personal data (including uploaded documents) may be processed on servers of the following international service providers:

  • Supabase Inc. (USA): Database and encrypted file storage.
  • Netlify Inc. (USA): Web application hosting and Edge Functions.
  • Resend Inc. (USA): Transactional email delivery (notifications, receipts).

These transfers are made to countries that may not provide adequate protection under KVKK Art. 9, and therefore can only take place based on your explicit consent. Without this transfer, it is technically not possible to provide the service through this platform.

3. Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal may result in the inability to complete ongoing orders and the deletion of your account. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. To withdraw, contact us at ceviri@canturkceviri.com.

4. Acknowledgement

By checking the consent checkbox in the order wizard, you confirm that you have read this form and that you freely, specifically and informedly consent to (a) the processing of your special category personal data for the purpose of the translation service and (b) the transfer of your personal data to the international infrastructure providers listed above.
